We took a leisurely Sunday stroll to the optometrist to pick up my my new spectacles, and decided it was the perfect day for a Pancake Adventure. Luckily for us, there was one smack bang in the middle of our route. Not so luckily for us, the pancakes were sub-par. I KNOW. What kind of evil exists in this world for there to be less-than-amazing pancakes?
The restaurant was beautiful and light, the old-school Japanese pottery on point, the waitress a bit of an airhead. She forgot my pancakes and brought The Scientist herbal tea instead of coffee. You should have seen his face. Complete shock.
